If you are using RAM Disk in your computer, it is a good way to reduce spending TBW on your SSD.
Here is the tutorial to move your Chrome TEMP files into RAMDisk.
- Go to C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application
- Copy chrome.exe to your desktop as a SHORTCUT
- Right click the shortcut and click "Properties"
- On the "Target", add these text " --disk-cache-dir=Z:\temp\chrome"
- Remember you need to add a SPACE before "--disk" on step 4
- The BLUE text is your Chrome TEMP file location
So, every time you launch the Chrome, use that shortcut you just edited. If you launch it using the main file, not the shortcut, the Temp setting will not work.
